Unsustainable working conditions?
Build your own business,
and fire your boss!
You’ve probably dreamed of having your own business anyway...
But maybe you don’t quite know what business to get into. Or maybe it seems risky.
Don’t fire your boss just yet—and don’t let on that you’re considering it; just get started on creating your business. You can do it in spare time, but the more time you can give it, the better...
Low Risk, Low Entry Cost;
respectable rewards
Unless you’re made of money that you don’t need (hahahahaha!), that (low risk) is what you want and need. That pretty well precludes a bricks-and-mortar operation, manufacturing, and a lot of other kinds of business.
Well, hey, if you have the wherewithal, power to you! But to me, it makes sense to be a little careful these days. The economy really isn’t doing that great, and we don’t really know where it’s headed (down the drain, in my opinion).
But I don’t know everything—maybe I don’t even know much. If you have the wherewithal, go start that big business with high entry costs, etc. Get down with your bad self! :)
But, you’re reading this, so that means you’re almost certainly looking for something more suited to “real people.”
You’re looking at your opportunity—right now
It’s the internet. Your computer. What you know.
If you can read, type, and follow directions, and have access to an internet connection, you can make money on the net.
Oh, don’t do it by yourself; while you might be able to make that work, why go to all the trouble of all that techie work and wrangling when there is a solution that leaves you free to go about communicating?
Building a web business
can be a real pain
It can be a real pain, that is, if you try to build it from the ground up, working out all the design and technical issues, promoting it to all the right sites, etc., etc., etc.
And it can be a little daunting, thinking that what you know could make you money. But it can.
The solution is sitesell
Three great things about Sitesell:
- Great instruction: When you sign up for Sitesell, you get great information. In fact, you can get great information without signing up; they give it away. Heck, I give it away! (link will open a new window for a pdf file. You do have adobe acrobat, don’t you? ... and yes, I’m authorized to give this to you.)
- A great support group. Sitesell has a ton of members—people who are upbeat and happy about living and doing what they do. That’s because they’re making money doing it, and having a ball, to boot. And they like to help one another. It’s a great bunch.
- The SiteBuildIt tool. There are other template programs, but the only company I know of who gives you really solid information on what to put in them and really how to use them is Sitesell. The SiteBuildIt tool is a particularly outstanding piece of programming, but beyond that, there are endless tools that Sitesell has developed to support you with information and ideas, as well as whatever technical support is left over after the SiteBuildIt tool is done.
Sitesell provides the web hosting, too. Completely reliable. They help you decide on your domain name, and then register it for you. And they provide a money back guarantee for your first months of working with them.
As I said, you can do this in your spare time. By going on the web, you are meeting up with the greatest number of people anyone can reach—if you have your site right, and have it well promoted.
Oh, and I almost forgot—Sitesell promotes your site, too. It’s one of the most important things they do. But where I’m looking at the SiteBuildIt tool (because I KNOW what it is to beat your head against the wall writing code!), it almost slipped my mind. They do it automatically, and they do it in a way that doesn’t cause problems with the search engines.
But enough from me
I really don’t do Sitesell justice. I rattle about the things that are important to me, and if that helps you, good. But you should get it straight from the horse’s mouth, so to speak.
BTW, you don’t have to worry about what will happen when you visit their site. They do NOT spam. In fact, they hate spam with a passion, and will expel their own members if the member spams. So they’re serious about it.
And they also won’t try to trap you with pop-up traps. Or anything else. They’ll simply let you visit, read, listen, watch and ... if you go away, it’s the last they’ll be in contact with you, until and unless YOU decide you want more to do with them.
So, if you’re fed up with working for someone else, or you’re looking for a (additional) income stream, ... well, obviously... checking it out bears no risk, and you might find Sitesell is really worth your time indeed. That’s how I see it.
